Passing the Torch to the Next Generation of Pilots!
Every young person who has a love of flight should have access and support in achieving their future dream as a pilot.
The Boeing Employees’ Flying Association (BEFA) is a non-profit organization made up of aviation professionals, enthusiasts, and pilots whose desire it is to see the next generation of young pilots given the opportunity and support, regardless of economic abilities to do just that. To that end, in 2015 BEFA founded a non-profit Charitable Trust called BEFACT for pilot scholarships.
The scholarship recipients are selected based on academic achievement, leadership, citizenship, career goals and financial need. BEFACT will provide each student access to the world of flight, mentorship and financial support that these young people need in pursuing their interest in a career in aerospace and aviation, and a love of flying.
All the pilot training will be provided by BEFA instructors. Each scholarship includes training required for a private pilot license, instrument rating, commercial rating, and acquiring a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) certificate. If you would like to be part of our vision to engage and empower the next generation of pilots, please consider making a contribution for scholarships to “BEFACT”. In the spirit of promoting the same passion and love of aviation that first captured our hearts and minds when we were their age, be assured your contribution will make a difference in developing new young pilots.
