DESCRIPTION:From http://apog.life/ — please check for most up to date info: \nFly into Darrington Municipal 1S2 for APOG – Any Patch of Grass – a three-day electronic music and camping festival set in a forest amphitheater at the foot of the Cascades. The Darrington Music Park sits about 90 minutes north of Seattle by car\, but you’ll have the prettier route: up the Sauk River valley under Whitehorse Mountain. Roughly 2\,000 people gather here each July for music across multiple stages\, with on-site camping under the evergreens. \nA few honest notes. This is a 21+ event\, and gates open Friday July 3 at 10 AM arrive before 10 PM Friday – no Saturday arrivals. The airport is day-VFR with no fuel and no services\, so top off before you come and bring your own tie-downs. It’s a fair distance from the runway to the venue and into town – plan a folding bike or a ride the music park is a few miles west of town. \nTown itself has restaurants\, a coffee shop\, a grocery store\, and a couple of bars\, all an easy walk once you’re in. For lodging\, the festival has multiple camping areas walk-in camping is included with a ticket car and RV camping are separate – see apog.life\, or the Darrington Motor Inn is in town.
