DESCRIPTION:From http://sauk-suiattle.com/ — please check for most up to date info: \nThe Sauk-Suiattle Indian Tribe holds its annual Celebration of Generations Pow Wow at the Sauk-Suiattle Pow Wow Grounds near Darrington – a cultural celebration of traditional dancing\, drumming\, singing\, food\, and crafts\, open to the public and welcoming visitors from across the region. \nFor pilots: Darrington Municipal 1S2 is the nearest field\, a scenic flight up the Sauk River valley. The grounds are on the reservation north of town\, so you’ll want to arrange ground transportation. The airport is day-VFR with no fuel and no services – top off before you come and bring your own tie-downs. Town has food\, coffee\, and a grocery store within walking distance\, and the Darrington Motor Inn for an overnight.This is the Tribe’s event.
