FAQ
I am not a Boeing Employee. Can I still join?
We do welcome Guest members, but are currently at our Guest membership capacity, and are not presently accepting new Guest membership applications. We review capacity typically once per month. Please check back to see if we are accepting new Guest memberships. Read about membership types here.
Can I join even if I am not a pilot?
Yes! Our instructors provide all sorts of training- from private pilot to CFI and beyond!
What’s the difference between BEFA and a typical flight school?
Think of BEFA as a flight club associated with Boeing. We have all the perks that a flight school has to offer plus special training like aerobatics, seaplane training, formation flight, tailwheel training, & more!
How long does it take to become a member?
Once submitted, a committee will review your application which may take a few days to a few weeks. Guest members will be added to a waitlist. Before private pilot flight training, we recommend you complete a ground school and pass the FAA written exam.
