Beginner Line Dancing Fly-In — Mansford Grange
From https://aopa.org/destinations/#/?t=events&eid=1886 — please check for most up to date info:
Fly in for a beginner line dancing class at the Mansford Grange, a community grange chapter running since 1919 and about a ten-minute walk from the 1S2 tiedowns. Caroline from Boots and Beats teaches absolute beginners, everything step by step — if you can fly a traffic pattern, you can line dance. $10 cash at the door; kids 10 and under free.
Make it an overnight: Darrington’s town code allows fly-in pilots to camp at the airport, and the IGA grocery is a quarter mile from the tiedowns. Depart Sunday morning through the Stillaguamish valley beneath Whitehorse Mountain.
Pilot notes: paved 2,491 x 40 ft runway 10/28, CTAF 122.9, unattended, no fuel (nearest at Arlington or Skagit), no runway lights — daylight VFR only. Class ends at 8 PM and sunset is 8:42 PM, so plan on staying over.
Cost: $10, kids 10 and under are free.
