Paine Field Airport Operations & Badging

PAINE FIELD BADGING INFO: 

BEFA members flying out of Paine Field are required to have an airport-issued badge.  Only badge holders are allowed access to the property within the security fence.

Keep in mind this is a two-trip process, which requires paperwork, a background check, and at-home online training before picking up your badge.

Obtaining a Paine Field Badge:

To begin the process, review the following linked Paine Field documents:

  1. Complete the linked AOA GA Badge Application. 
  2. Complete the linked TSA form.
  3. Complete the Authorized Signatory Exam
    1. Authorized Signatory Training Condensed PDF.

    1. Everyone at BEFA is their own Authorized Signatory. The Authorized Signatory training is required every other year for badge holders. All members will also sign as the Authorized Signatory on the application as well as the badging applicant
    2. If it does not apply to you leave it blank. 

You need to bring the following items to your  appointment:

  • Completed application
  • I-9 documents- list of acceptable I-9 documents are attached.  If you do not bring your I-9 documents with you, we will not be able to renew your badge.
  • Any training Certificates or Completed Exams.
  • Your expiring/expired badge.
  • Method of payment
